Pre-term births are up but fewer newborns die

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Too many U.S. babies are being born pre-term, costing the economy billions of dollars, but the good news is that fewer teenagers are having babies and fewer young babies are dying than ever before, according to two reports released on Thursday.
