U.S. panel strongly recommends shingles vaccine
NEW YORK (Reuters) - An influential federal health advisory committee on Wednesday recommended that Americans aged 60 and older receive Merck & Co's recently launched Zostavax vaccine to prevent shingles, a painful condition involving blisters caused by the re-activated chicken pox virus.
