Vaccine prevents onset of cervical cancer

NEW YORK (Reuters) - An experimental Merck & Co. Inc. vaccine completely prevented early-stage cervical cancer and precancerous cervical lesions caused by the two most common forms of a virus linked to such cancers, Merck said on Thursday.
